craZy monkey!?

Well, I heard mommy talking yesterday, and it sounds like she is going to call a dog behaviorist/trainer for me! AH! In her words, I am a "crazy monkey". :D I like being crazy!! But mom says I have to stop biting.. because I am hurting people. And I apparantly go psycho when I get something that I shouldn't have. Well.. duh! If you got something that you couldn't have, wouldn't you be excited?! But, I suppose her idea of excitement is a little bit different than mine.
Anyways, mommy took me to the pet store and we got to see little mini American Eskimo puppies! Boy they were cute! Right then and there, I realized that we are probably the cutest kind out there!! :D She let me smell one of them, and let me tell you.. he needed a bath! Even though it was mommy's 20th birthday, she bought me some new treats. How nice?!

Well, as promised, here are some pictures!! Mommy finally got the computer back from the fixing place! I was finally able to have a bath yesterday... although, I didn't want it! I accidentally bit mommy when she tried to put me in the bathtub :( I tried hiding, but she found me. Oh well, I smell better and I'm really really soft!! My mom's sister found a teddy bear with a red jacket on it, and the jacket fit me so perfectly, that I get to keep it!!! It's very cold outside, so I'll need it! Brrr! Mommy went to Wal-Mart and bought me little pink booties.. but I hated them so much. I'm tough! I don't need boots! hehe!


This is when I came home from the vets :( Look at all of those toys.. but I didn't feel like playing with them.

Happy Birthday To Me! happy birthday to me! HaPpY BiRtHdAy To MeeEE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Well, actually, it was my birthday 3 days ago, but mom said the computer had a virus so we had to send it away :( I got lots of presents and treats!!
My spay surgery went pretty good.. although I felt pretty miserable the first couple nights. But boy was I excited to see my mommy pick me up at the vet's!! My incision is looking a lot better, but that's only because I had to wear a cone :( Overall, my birthday week was kind of bad!! I mean, surgery, then back to the vets for a cone and OTHER things (THE RUBBER GLOVE!! :O ) That cone really made me nervous though!! When mommy took me out to pee, I didn't know what to do! I just stood on the grass and looked at her. Eventually she took it off, and I finally got to pee (after holding it for 6 hours!!!) AHHH! But now that I am not licking it anymore, I'm feeling a lot better!!!
I even got to visit my cousin Lola the Chihuahua today! Well, she was tied at one end of the yard, and I at the other. All she did was bark and growl at me.. I just played in the yard! She doesn't like me very much... but her neighbor doggy said hello to me! She was a big Husky!

Let It Snow!

Well, it was a typical week in southern Alberta, Canada... sun shine one day, snow the next... now it's sunny again. It snowed a few days ago, and I got to play in the park!! It was SO fun!! My mom and auntie chased me around in the snow, and I ran around eating lots of it!! My favorite part of snow, is rubbing my nose in it and pushing it around!! There was another little doggie on the other side of the park, that looked like a small bunny rabbit!!! His little ears flopped up and down when he ran! He was helping his mom build a snowman. My mom tried that, but I didn't like it so I jumped on it and destroyed it! hehe!

I've just heard the most terrible news!! Mom said that she scheduled me into the Vet's to be... spayed! I'm awfully scared!! She said that it will change me for the better, and that it's a good thing! I'll even have to stay overnight at the Vet's! I'm sure many of you doggies out there have been through it.. so, there's nothing I should worry about- right?!

And of course, it will be 2 days before my birthday! What kind of present is that?!?!

Happy Halloween!!

Well, yesterday was Halloween! After mom got home from work, she let me pick out a pumpkin!! I made sure that the pumpkin was okay for her to touch, so I licked it aaalllll over. Then I let mom carve a pretty picture on it! There were SO many intruders on our property!! Ringing doorbells.. how rude! I made sure that I barked REALLY loud, to let them know that it was my house! (er.. I mean our house!)
After supper, (which, I did not eat because I was too busy protecting the house from monsters), mommy dressed up as Harry Potter.. and Grandpa wore a very scary mask! It didn't scare me though.. just the little two leggers (haha)! Grandma didn't dress up, she stayed by the door so she could help me catch the monsters!! Mom went trick-or-treating with her colleagues kids (both of which I tried to bite!) and brought back lots of candy. It smells really good, but it's up in a high place where I can't reach it :( (..yet!)
Anyways, mom says that this Halloween thing makes me crazy. She just doesn't realize that I am here to protect her!! Without me, the monsters would have got in the house!!
I hope all of you doggies who celebrated it had a HaPpY HaLLoWeeN!!!!

My new igloo

Mommy bought me a cute new igloo house!! She said she spent lots of money on it, and is sad because I never use it! In my opinion, if she spent lots of money on it, why would she want me to mess it up?! She thinks I don't like it *hehe*!


Anyway, I was a bit nervous about it.. so mommy actually got inside of the dogloo and curled up!! She said it was warm and comfy inside, so I gave it a try! It's not bad.. although I'd rather be sitting on the cold step in the wind.


I went to the park yesterday with mom and auntie.. it was so much fun!! All of that room to run....it was great! Mom said that she wanted me to run around.. but all I wanted to do was sit in the shade with my golf ball!!


Next summer mom is going to completely fence in the yard, so I can run around all I want!! I can't wait!

It was an accident!

Well, today was pretty fun... for me. :D My mommy took me to her office to say hello to her boss, and to get me a new o-ring for my i.d. tags. It was pretty scary.. especially because that's where I was dropped off (at the pound). There were lots of people there that were trying to feed me treats.. but I was too scared to take them!! I hid behind mommy's legs while she talked to the boss. I followed one guy down the hallway and then mom got mad at me because I pooped there! The boss wasn't mad though.. he said "at least it wasn't on my floor mat!" I smiled and then ran back down the hallway. Everybody said I was cute... but mommy warned them not to put their fingers too close to my mouth.. I wonder why?!
Just before we left, I peed on the boss's floor mat. Let's just say that it was an "accident". :D Mom said that if I'm not careful she'll put me back in the pound. She was joking, of course!... wasn't she? I hope so! I've been laying at her feet all day, in hopes that she forgives me! It's a good thing for me that mommy is a sucker for my puppy dog eyes!!!

I went to the Vet a few days ago, and he told mom that I have a bladder infection. Now I have to take a pill every morning and night. Yuck! Whenever mom takes a pill out of the container, I try to hide in a small place where she can't reach!! But for some reason, whenever it is pill time now, she gives me peanut butter!! That must mean that I don't have to take them anymore!

Well, today was pretty uneventful!! My mom started a new job that goes from 4pm-12am, so it's pretty lonely without her!! I get to play with my Auntie when she gets home from school, and my Grandma plays with us too!! It was very boring without mom there! But, on the plus side, I got to lay on her bed.. and I had it ALL to myself!!! I mostly laid on the floor waiting, but eventually I had to go to bed. But thankfully, mommy woke me when she got home, and we played a little bit!!

Oh! and thanks for all of the warm welcomes from everybody who posted on my blog!!



I got the WHOLE bed ALL to myself!!


That's when I tried to put my own harness on... my grandma had to help me!

Well, it's Thanksgiving here in Canada.. and we just finished a lovely feast! Well.. actually all the two-leggers just finished a feast. I had the usual Kibbles & Bits. But the smell of turkey put a big smile on my face!!
I had to sit in my kennel for a while though, because my cousin Lola came over. She gets really angry when she sees me.. even though I'd just like to play with her! Chihuahuas are so hard to please!! For instance, last time she came over, I was just sitting on the steps minding my own business.. and she starting biting my tail! We've been in a few brawls, so mommy says it's safer if we stay away from eachother! But after Lola left, I got to play upstairs with everybody. We even got to play outside in the leaves! It was so much fun!

Well, I'd just like to say that I'm thankful to be here!! Thanks for adopting me mommy!!
